“Matthew John Dolan, born January 12, 1965, in Chardon, Ohio, is an American politician and attorney serving as a State Senator for Ohio's 24th district since 2017. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2005 to 2010. Dolan has a background in law, business, and sports management, having been a part of the Cleveland Guardians' front office. He is a graduate of Boston College (B.A. in History) and Case Western Reserve University School of Law (J.D.). Known for his traditional Republican stance, Dolan has run for U.S. Senate twice, in 2022 and 2024, but was unsuccessful in both campaigns.”
