Robin Ficker, a Republican, is a former member of the Maryland House of Delegates. Born in Takoma Park, Maryland, Ficker served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1966. He earned a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1965, a graduate degree from American University, and a law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. His career includes experience as a real estate broker and farmer. Ficker ran for the U.S. Senate in Maryland in 2024, losing in the Republican primary on May 14, 2024.
