Ossoff has focused on bipartisanship, achieving significant legislative results, including passing more standalone bills than any other freshman Senator in his first two years. His legislative work includes laws to strengthen mental health services, address the opioid epidemic, investigate unsolved lynchings and Civil Rights murders, and improve veteran mental health care. Ossoff has also led investigations into issues such as military family housing mistreatment and corruption in Federal prisons. He has been instrumental in securing legislation that capped the cost of insulin and expanded broadband access in Georgia. He has championed Georgia’s economic development through legislation attracting manufacturing jobs and investments. Ossoff has also focused on veterans' issues, including improving mental health care for veterans and enhancing facilities for military families. Prior to serving in the Senate, he led a business producing investigative journalism that exposed war crimes and public corruption. Ossoff is married to Dr. Alisha Kramer, and they have a daughter, Eva Beth, residing in Atlanta.
